I produced a paper engineered physical book to captivate the adult generation in a technological age where digital software and e-books are becoming the norm. I wanted to challenge the notion of how time travel is explored through a seemingly linear format. The aim was to provide a physical format that tells a story in an unconventional approach. The audience can interact with the story and follow in any direction they like, leading the pace of the story through their interaction.

I explored how the physical form of a book can inform a narrative, considering the constraints of book design, and challenging generic layouts, using paper engineering to inform the content of the narrative. This area needed to be investigated because it brings into question the relevance of physical books in the digital age and whether a physical book has limits in terms of execution and production.
