Jenny Duke

My portfolio shows pages from three of my final illustration projects. The first four prints are from a book based on Kevin Crossley- Holland’s poem “The Sea-Tongue“. It tells of the drowning of a medieval town on the Suffolk coast, linking images from the coastline today with stories from the past.  Next are two book covers for traditional children’s literature and finally there is my response to a live brief from a company which called for the re-packaging of  their mail-order natural snack products. My work starts with observational drawing followed by lots of experimentation with colours, papers and patterns.

Further work can be seen on

Hi. We are a new type of gallery service for student, part-time and amateur artists. We were really attracted to your work and wondered whether you may be interested in participating in any of our events. We are opening a Gallery in Brighton in Summer 2013, and would welcome submissions from you. We are also planning various exhibitions in between. We will add your email address to our mailing list if you reply, to update you when more information comes up. Also, to be added to our Facebook page for artists ( Raw Talent ) go on Facebook and join group. Also, you could ‘Like’ our RAW artwork page .
Warm regards and good luck for your future either way,
